ASBURY PARK, NJ--(Marketwired - Feb 12, 2014) - On March 1, 2014, The Joan Dancy & PALS (People with ALS) Foundation will be holding "Sinderella's Ball" at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ. The Joan Dancy & PALS is a wonderful grassroots organization that helps to provide services and medical equipment to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients and their families in Monmouth and Ocean County.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a physically debilitating disease. It is estimated that patient care for those affected can be upwards of $250,000 a year. The Joan Dancy and PALS Foundation is able to help fray these costs with the generosity of local businesses, volunteers, organizations, and caring individuals.
Sinderella's Ball will be held to raise money so that The Joan Dancy & PALS Foundation can continue their efforts on behalf of those with ALS. "The goal is to raise $70,000," according to Leslie Berlin and Jay Kanofsky, event coordinators. "We are so happy with the amount of enthusiasm we've already received since announcing this event. The night will be a celebration filled with fantastic music, all for a great cause! Please come out and join us."
The evening at the iconic Wonder Bar will feature well-known DJ, Lee Mrowicki, and four New Jersey based bands including Alex Brummell, Brian Bisbee, Charles Laurita and the Mischief, and Matt Wade.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door or online. There are also many sponsorship opportunities available and donations of goods and services are welcome for a silent auction to be held that night.
The doors open at 7PM and the concert will begin at 8PM.
