GUILFORD, Conn., Feb. 13, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Clean Air-Cool Planet, a non-profit organization that worked collaboratively with college campuses to promote sustainable solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions, today announced that it is transitioning its operations to the University of New Hampshire's (UNH) Sustainability Institute.
CA-CP's Campus Carbon Calculator (CCC) is widely accepted as the preferred method for calculating college and university greenhouse gas emissions. In 2013, they launched a web-based version of the CCC called CarbonMAP (Carbon Management and Analysis Platform) in partnership with Sightlines. CarbonMAP is now used by more than 550 North American campuses to measure and manage energy use and greenhouse gas emissions and will continue to be available following the transition.

Sightlines will continue to support the qualification and analysis of submitted data.
