MILFORD, Conn., Feb. 21, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cardiopulmonary Corp. (CPC) today announced that its Bernoulli® Enterprise platform meets the integration testing standards of the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) and will be participating in the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Interoperability Showcase in Orlando, FL from February 23-27, 2014. During Integration Profile Tests at the IHE North America Connectathon 2014, CPC demonstrated interoperability with numerous health care IT systems, validating the platform's ability to exchange clinical data in accordance with IHE standards.
IHE's Connectathon is the health information technology industry's largest live cross-vendor interoperability testing forum, which this year drew more than 600 of the industry's top engineers and IT architects from more than 100 companies. CPC demonstrated that its Bernoulli Enterprise platform may be used to establish seamless interoperability of medical device data with any certified electronic health records (EHR) product used by hospital systems and medical practices in the fulfillment of Meaningful Use.
CPC's participation at the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase (Booth #9001-60) is an exciting opportunity to experience first-hand clinical data being exchanged and utilized. CPC will be leveraging it's Bernoulli platform to display alert messages throughout multiple patient scenarios incorporating multiple devices and hospital information systems.
Cardiopulmonary Corp. will also be demonstrating the Bernoulli platform at the HIMSS 2014 Intelligent Hospital Pavilion (Booth #8265-16). For the fourth successive year as a proud sponsor, CPC will be showcasing Bernoulli Medical Device Integration, Clinical Surveillance and Analytics in an interactive setting.
