Beamz Interactive, Inc. Signs Strategic Distribution Agreement With Tobii Assistive Technology, the Leader in Eye Tracking Solutions

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwired - Feb 25, 2014) - Beamz Interactive, Inc. (OTCQB: BZIC), a leading developer of state-of-the-art interactive music products, today announced a strategic distribution agreement with Sweden-based Tobii Technology, the world's leading vendor of eye tracking and eye control technology, which makes it possible for computers to know exactly where users are looking. This strategic partnership will combine Tobii's renowned eye tracking technology with Beamz interactive music technology to bring music creation tools to those with special needs. Through the agreement, users with communication and/or mobility challenges will be able to play Beamz interactive songs with only their eyes.

As part of the new distribution agreement, Beamz will provide Tobii with a range of interactive music software and music content to offer with their assistive technology eye gaze solutions. Beamz will also provide Tobii with its proprietary interactive music hardware for distribution by Tobii through its worldwide distribution network, including over 60 distributors throughout the world, over 20 sales reps in the United States, and offices in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Japan, China and Norway.

Pursuant to the strategic partnership, Beamz is developing a special version of its interactive music system -- with wider "laser beams" and additional content -- to optimize use with the Tobii assistive technology devices. The new system will allow individuals of all ages and abilities to experience the fun and excitement of creating interactive music, either by moving their hands through laser beams with the provided hardware, or on-screen by using Tobii Eye Gaze technology. This interactivity can be done individually, or with a friend.
