Hans Stråberg nominated Chair of Atlas Copco


Stockholm, Sweden, March 21, 2014: Hans Stråberg, Vice Chair of Atlas Copco AB,
has been proposed by the Nomination Committee to serve as the next Chair of the
Board. Shareholders will vote on the matter at the Annual General Meeting on
April 29.
Hans Stråberg, a Swedish citizen born 1957, has broad experience in leading a
multinational company. He was President and CEO of AB Electrolux between 2002
and 2010, and held various leading positions within Electrolux, both in Sweden
and the United States, since joining that company in 1983. He serves as Chair of
Roxtec AB, CTEK AB and Orchid Orthopedics Inc., and is a member of the Board of
Investor AB, N Holding AB, Mellby Gård AB and Stora Enso Oyj. Stråberg is a
member of the Atlas Copco AB Board since 2013 when he was also elected Vice
Chair.

Stråberg has a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Chalmers
University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.

On December 18, 2013, Atlas Copco announced that Sune Carlsson, present Chair of
the Board of Atlas Copco AB, has declined reelection at the Annual General
Meeting 2014.
