SECTION 3: VISUAL REPORTING OPPORTUNITIES
Hispanicize 2014 will be packed with many opportunities for fun video and photojournalism. In order to assist you with what some of those highlights are, here is a list of suggestions:
Blogger/Journalist Pre-Treat (MONDAY): A very special retreat will be held exclusively for Latino bloggers and journalists on the afternoon of Monday, March 31. Media wishing to attend this special, highly visual event that will center around South Beach need to ask for special credentials.
NASCAR's Hispanicize 2014 bus (EVERYDAY): The official bus of Hispanicize 2014 is a giant Toyota NASCAR vehicle that has been artfully painted into a double decker bus. This is a can't miss visual you'll want to include in your photos and videos.
Latinovator Lunches (EVERYDAY): Each of our four Latinovators this year are Hispanics who have accomplished or stand for something remarkable or noteworthy. Journalists will have the opportunity to photograph them during their lunch interview session or at their individual press conferences.
Imaginative Sponsor Exhibits (EVERYDAY): Ordinarily exhibit floors at events are boring. Not at Hispanicize, which sports one of the most creative exhibit spaces of any event in the nation. Major exhibitors include Target, P&G, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Sherwin-Williams and many others but pay special attention to Target. Target's exhibit space and their Wednesday, April 2nd opening reception at 6 p.m. will be guaranteed rock stars visually and in every way.
The Positive Impact Awards (THURSDAY): The signature event of Hispanicize 2014 will be the Positive Impact Awards, the most important program in the history of the Hispanicize event. Here is the story outlining who the 20 winners are: http://www.hispanicizeevent.com/featured/hispanicize-positive-impact-awards-recognize-20-unsung-latinos-for-outstanding-deeds-community-work.html.
Gain #MusicaParaTuNariz Closing Reception (FRIDAY): Dubbed the "best smelling party" of Hispanicize 2014, this closing reception will feature GRAMMY-winning music artists La Santa Cecilia and other surprises courtesy of Gain.
Latinas Who Rock Closing Night Bash at Imperia Lounge in downtown Miami: One of Miami's most beautiful nightlife hangouts will come colorfully alive to host three emerging Latina artists: Katherine Alexander (Opener), Raquel Sofia, Danay Suarez and the LatinMixx DJ's.
SECTION 4: Event Photo and Video Resources
Hispanicize 2014 will provide extensive photo and video support for media to shoot content but journalists are also welcomed to request free access to the event's in-house video and photo archives.
