PLS Dealmakers Prospect & Property Expo Brings Canada's Leading Oil and Gas Executives to Calgary's Telus Centre May 5

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - Apr 2, 2014) - The Spring Calgary Dealmakers Prospect & Property Expo will take place Monday, May 5, 2014 at the TELUS Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Following up on two successful shows in Calgary during 2013, this power-packed one-day Canadian prospect expo is the "go to" event for deal buyers, sellers and capital providers looking to initiate investments and divestitures.

Six leading Canadian oil and gas industry groups are lending support to the oil show. The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen (CAPL), Canadian Global Exploration Forum (CGEF), Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG), and the Explorers and Producers Association of Canada (EPAC) are renewing their participation in Dealmakers from last year. Additionally, the Canadian Society for Unconventional Resources (CSUR) is joining this industry-leading oil and gas expo, which is being managed by PLS Inc., one of the energy industry's leading information, marketing and advisory firms.

These six industry groups along with show manager PLS are underwriting the event costs to make booths free for participating sellers, prospect generators and acreage holders. In addition, PLS will donate over $8,000 to the collegiate scholarships funds of CAPP, CAPL, CGEF, CSPG, EPAC and CSUR.

Dealmakers enables attendees to catch up on current plays and initiate contact with the industry's preeminent prospect generators, explorationists, property sellers, deal-takers, operators, non-operated working interest owners, capital providers, advisors, divestiture professionals, investment bankers and other energy executives active in buying and selling oil and gas assets. By limiting attendance mainly to buy- and sell-side professionals and capital providers, Dealmakers consistently draws a high percentage of C-level executives and decision makers. An industry luncheon and networking reception starting at 4:00 pm will provide excellent opportunities for additional networking.
