Kim Bariatric Institute Celebrates Nate Newton's Four Year Weight Loss Anniversary

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - Apr 8, 2014) - As a three-time Super Bowl Champion and six-time Pro Bowl selection, most people associate Nate Newton as a legendary Dallas Cowboy player who was among one of the best guards in the NFL. What many people do not know, however, is after Newton's NFL career, he weighed close to 400 pounds and was struggling severely with obesity. In 2010, Newton underwent gastric sleeve resection, also known as vertical sleeve gastrectomy, performed by Dallas bariatric surgeon David D. Kim, MD.
