Greensboro's Own Dr. Christopher Coley to Support Charity Events

GREENSBORO, NC--(Marketwired - Apr 9, 2014) - Greensboro cosmetic surgeon, Dr. H. Christopher Coley, will be supporting and attending several charity events in the coming months. Dr. Coley is recognized as a leader in his field, as well as a tremendous supporter of local, national and international non-profit organizations.

Dr. Coley sponsored the Raise a Glass Festival on Saturday, April 5, which supports St. Pius X Catholic School. The dinner, silent and live auctions raised thousands of dollars for the school.

On Friday, April 25, Dr. Coley will take part in the 11th Annual Greensboro Oyster Roast to support Family Service of Piedmont, an organization that provides valuable advocacy, education and support services to help the families of Greensboro, High Point and Jamestown. Dr. Coley is a Bronze level sponsor of the event.

Dr. Coley is very much looking forward to the 6th annual Reelin' for Research tournament, where he is a Royal Slam level sponsor, to benefit the NC Children's Promise, a program that raises money for the UNC Children's Hospital. The hospital protects the health and well-being of North Carolina's 2.1 million children by aligning premier health care practitioners, world-class medical education, and innovative, interdisciplinary research to provide the highest-quality, family-centered care, regardless of a family's ability to pay. In addition to being a Royal Slam sponsor of the event and making a donation, Dr. Coley is participating in the fishing tournament on May 3, 2014. Held in memory of Tony Montana, who passed away from cancer in 2005, the tournament has raised $575,000 in its first five years.

Operation Smile is an international program that connects compassionate medical professionals with children who benefit from reconstructive surgery for facial deformities, including cleft lip and cleft palate. The donations from Dr. Coley have been used to help children around the world.

The Greensboro Police Foundation is a local program to help fill the gaps of a dwindling law enforcement budget. Dr. Coley's support helps ensure that the men and women of the Greensboro police department receive the training, equipment and other resources they need to protect and serve the community.
