The benefit is to make it much more difficult for professional hackers to mount attacks.
Specifically, users can choose to Disable Form Caching functionality within their site to prevent the possibility of hackers accessing caching form field values within a customer's IssueTrak site, and multiple users who access IssueTrak using a shared workstation from seeing cached form fields entered by other users who use that workstation. Users can Activate Click-jacking Security Measures designed to minimize the possibility of hackers executing "Click-jacking" attacks. Finally, to help prevent hackers from executing Cross-site Request Forgery attacks, users can Activate CSFR Security Measures.
Also included in 9.8 are enhancements that improve performance, error handling, and centralized logging for Incoming Email Module (IEM) and Active Directory (AD), as well as new Type Ahead searching in the Billing Module.
