Dataguise's Patty Nghiem Named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel List

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 5, 2014) - Dataguise®, the leading provider of data-centric security solutions for Big Data Protection, today announced at Hadoop Summit that Patty Nghiem, vice president of marketing and business development, has been named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel list. The annual list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel industry as a whole. Nghiem has also been named to the CRN 15 Channel Up-and-Comers list, which gives special recognition to rising-star female executives at companies across the channel.

Nghiem is responsible for Dataguise's channel, alliances and marketing strategy. Since joining the company, she has created and launched Dataguise's Big Data Protection Partner Program (BDP3) and drove the rollout of the Dataguise Security Sandbox with Hadoop distribution partners Hortonworks and MapR. Over the coming year, Nghiem plans for a ten-fold increase in the number of partners in the Dataguise BDP3 and a five-fold increase in revenue through the channel. Nghiem also founded the Dataguise Women's Network, which encourages women to collaborate and "lean in" during discussions in the workplace. Prior to Dataguise, Nghiem ran global partner operations at Salesforce.com from 2012-2013, where she led the team that supported, enabled and grew the Cloud Alliance partner program, an ecosystem of over 2,000 Salesforce partners.

"These female executives have risen in the ranks of their organizations and are leaving their indelible mark on the technology channel. We celebrate their many contributions and the varied ways in which they help solution providers grow and thrive every day," said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. "We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success."

"I'm honored to be recognized as one of CRN's Women of the Channel and one of the CRN 15 Up-and-Comers," Nghiem said. "The success and accomplishments that we've achieved at Dataguise with our business and technology relationships is a result of the collaborative effort of many women and men. I look forward to continue working with the Dataguise team and our Big Data channel partners to achieve the goals we've set this year."

The Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN magazine and online at www.crn.com.
