(OTCQB:IHSI), announced that it has shipped its first LED lights to a grower of medical marijuana in California. The company has received interest from 5 additional growers in multiple states since it first announced its digital lighting platform to deliver UV-enhanced white light spectrum lighting for the growing of cannabis plants. Without the proper lighting solution, marijuana plants can't grow efficiently indoors. The worldwide market for medical marijuana is estimated to be in excess of $40 billion and is projected to be one of the fastest growing industries worldwide over the next decade.
Efficient, energy-saving lighting with the right light spectrum is an essential component to a successful medical marijuana growing operation. Many growers believe that more than 20 hours of light is best for the plant with only a few hours of darkness.
