WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., June 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Edgewater Ranzal, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Edgewater Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:EDGW) and Platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), completed the implementation of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) for its parent company.
Oracle PBCS enables organizations of all sizes to quickly adopt world-class planning and budgeting applications with no additional capital infrastructure investment, driving world-class functionality across the enterprise with flexible deployment options and virtually no learning curve.
Edgewater purchased the PBCS tool for their driver-based rolling forecast process in February 2014. Ranzal's implementation of PBCS was completed in about four weeks, allowing Edgewater to submit its June forecast in parallel with its old process. The company will fully transition to the PBCS tool for its third quarter forecast cycle.
