Enactus is a global non-profit organization operating in 36 countries.
Enactus student members have spent one year or more working on entrepreneurial projects designed to positively impact the quality of life and living standards for members of their communities. These projects will be presented to a panel of more than 100 judges at the Enactus India National Competition.
During this two-day event, teams from leading colleges will showcase the results and impact of their community outreach projects, which will be evaluated by the judges over the course of three rounds of competition.
One team will be named the national champion, and will go on to represent India at the 2014 Enactus World Cup in Beijing, China from October 22–24, 2014.
Enactus was introduced in India in 2003 by Bharat Desai, Founder and Chairman of Syntel. Over the ensuing decade, Enactus has become a valuable opportunity for young entrepreneurs to meet, collaborate and learn from established business leaders while gaining real-world entrepreneurship experience.
