New functionality provides support for popular cloud storage providers, enables sharing of documents via Box and Dropbox, integrates with established EDMS solutions, and scales to the needs of large global AECO organizations. New features will allow customers to collaborate more easily and manage workflows for building information management (BIM) more efficiently. Newforma Project Center now integrates with leading electronic document management systems Bentley® ProjectWise®, Microsoft® SharePoint®, and IBM® FileNet®, reinforcing its role as the "single pane of glass" for access to all project information.
Cloud storage and delivery
Newforma Chief Executive Officer Ian Howell noted that "many of our customers are evaluating or deploying cloud storage services using global locking file system provider Panzura, cloud-integrated storage solution Microsoft StorSimple, and enterprise storage-as-a-service provider Nasuni. Our Newforma solution manages project data stored in the cloud via these popular providers. EDMS integration

Improved BIM to PIM functionality delivers more value from the model
The Newforma Building Information Management add-on module has also been enhanced, using a new PDF print driver that simplifies the generation of sheets within Autodesk® Revit® and automatically captures sheet metadata to streamline the issuance of drawings from the model, saving time and preventing errors.
Mobile apps increase field productivity
Newforma Project Center also integrates with recently announced mobile apps that enable users to capture information in the field, manage field tasks, and manage project email on leading mobile devices, including Apple® iPhone® and iPad®, as well as Android™ smartphones and tablets. The Newforma Plans app also allows all project team members to access drawings and specifications on an Apple iPad tablet.
