KEYPORT, NJ--(Marketwired - Aug 28, 2014) - Mr. Green Tea Ice Cream Company and Marcus Lemonis, star of CNBC's reality series, The Profit, today announced the launch of a new private label line, Crumbs Bake Shop Ice Cream, to be produced in their in Keyport, New Jersey facility.
The new Crumbs Bake Shop Ice Cream products are part of the anticipated brand restructuring of the popular national bakery chain, Crumbs Bake Shop, which closed its doors this past July. Plans are to reopen Crumbs stores under new direction by Lemonis and Fischer Enterprises and re-brand the bake shop to offer a wider variety of dessert products.
"Mr. Green Tea introducing the new Crumbs Bake Shop Ice Cream product line is the first of many plans to expand the Crumbs offerings beyond cupcakes," said Lemonis. "Broadening the Crumbs brand into a sweets and snacks shop allows us to create new ways for our customers to enjoy timeless favorites."
Mr. Green Tea will distribute the new Crumbs Bake Shop Ice Cream in individual servings and pints sold in grocery and convenience stores across the country. The Crumbs Ice Cream line will feature popular Crumbs Cupcake flavors such as Red Velvet, Double Devil's Food Cake and Apple Cobbler as part of a continuously growing selection of unique flavors.
