Intergraph(R) CAESAR II(R) Webinar September 16th to Feature Aibel, Norway Discussing Pipe Stress Analysis of Floating Storage and Offloading Vessels

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Sep 8, 2014) - Intergraph will host a webinar on September 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. CEST on how to use CAESAR II to perform stress analysis of piping systems on board floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels. These FPSO vessel piping systems require a design that is qualified to withstand a large array of loading conditions in addition to the normal pressure, temperature, and weight factors. The webinar structure will be an interview with customer Aibel, Norway, a major provider of services to the oil and gas industry, who has successfully used CAESAR on such a project. The webinar will cover how they completed the analysis including the development of loading conditions and the specification of data plus the problems they experienced during the analysis and how they overcame them.

The three webinar leaders will be Steve Gillott, the Analysis Software sales manager for Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis Solutions in Europe; Harald Ødegård, piping discipline lead of Aibel, Norway; and Per Christian Ulsbøl, senior pipe stress engineer at Aibel, Norway.
