Monoprice's new line of home automation components integrate with current equipment in homes and workplaces through various operating platforms, providing convenience remotely and enhancing the use of home security, lighting controls, home theater and audio systems.
Monoprice will debut its lineup of new and affordable home automation products at CEDIA including:
Z-Wave® Dimming Plug-In Switch (#11994): With the ability to sync up to two different devices, this forthcoming wall attachment allows users to easily control the dimming function of their lamps or lights through their electronic device.
Z-Wave Door and Window Sensor ($24.88, #10795): This sensor can be used to monitor either a door or a window, sending a Z-Wave signal when the door or window has been breached.
Z-Wave Glass Shock Sensor (#11988): This forthcoming sensor can be set on a window or other surface to produce an alarm when break-ins or other forceful entries occur.
Z-Wave Electronic Door Lock Sensor ($114.97, #10798): In addition to allowing operation using multiple PINs programmed for multiple users, this deadbolt lock monitors and logs the time and identities of the users who lock or unlock the device.
Z-Wave Garage Door Sensor (#11987): This sensor allows users to conveniently and remotely check whether the garage door is open or closed.
Z-Wave Smoke Detector ($50.13, #10797): When detected smoke reaches a particular density, a Z-Wave signal is sent and the detector's alarm sounds to alert you to the dangerous smoke intensity.
Monoprice's lineup of new and affordable home theater products include:
6 Zone Home Audio Multizone Controller and Amplifier Kit ($649, Product ID #10761): This no-logo, multi-zone controller is a 6x6 matrix with six stereo audio inputs and six outputs. When bridged into mono mode, it can deliver up to 470-watts into an 8-ohm load, with the same 0.2% THD+N, making it well suited for high power applications when used as an amplifier in a multi-zone home audio system.
2-Channel 40 Watt Bluetooth® Amplifier ($91.85, Product ID #11498): This recently launched, all-inclusive stereo amplifier delivers 20-watts per channel into 4-ohm loads, which is more than enough to drive most bookshelf speakers. It can also be bridged to produce 40 watts into a single 8-ohm load.
39" Sound Bar with Bluetooth and Wireless Subwoofer ($159, Product ID #12243): This sound bar can elevate your entire home theater sound experience.
