Ruggedly Built
Along with its ability to withstand four-foot drops, shocks, and vibrations, the GammaTech DURABOOK R11 tablet also has an IP65 rating for dust and water-sealing protection. Its wide operating temperature range of -14 F ~ 131 F means it can stand up to the daily wear and tear encountered in office or field settings. Qualifying under the strict MIL-STD 461F Army Ground and Air Force standard* allows the R11 to be confidently used by military forces.
Exceptional Features
The unit's powerful 4th generation Intel Haswell Core processor provides superb visual and graphic performance. Standard models come with the i5 version. It has an 11.6" HD (1366x768) LCD anti-reflective display with a capacitive multi-touch panel and a water tolerant design, meaning it can be used even in wet environments and/or while the user is wearing latex gloves.
The R11 includes built-in G-sensor, gyroscope sensors, and a light-ambient sensor; Intel high- definition audio; M2-SATA SSD 64GB/128GB storage; a Micro SD card slot that supports SDHC and SDXC; and a front-side, full HD camera as well as an integrated rear-facing 5MP camera. Wireless communications are provided by Intel Centrino Wireless AC 7260 NGW 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC and Bluetooth 4.0 Class 1.
A lithium-polymer battery pack provides a battery life of 6-7 hours, based on configuration. Security features include computrace support BIOS, administrator password, TPM 1.2, Kensington lock, and boot password protection.
Array of Options for Customization
All GammaTech computers can be customized to customer specifications. With a wide array of options, the R11 tablet is no exception. Options include an Intel Core processor i7; M2 SSD storage; sunlight-readable display; digitizer and active stylus pen; barcode scanner, supporting 1D, 1D/2D barcodes; and an integrated GPS/WWAN (LTE Module). Expansion module options include: NFC/RFID, MSR & CAC (magnetic stripe reader and common access card), or smart card (CAC only).
Optional accessories for the R11 tablet include a car adapter, desktop cradle, vehicle dock, x-strap, hand strap and more.

The rugged R11 tablet is right at home in a variety of office or field settings. The DURABOOK line of rugged tablets are already used by: field service (commercial and residential), health care, transportation, field sales, retail, public safety, military, fire/EMS and hospitality. The unit is equally appropriate for any other mobile application, where real-time information is vital and is subject to constant movement, bumpy rides, or use in damp or dusty areas.
