Industry Influencer Carrie Burns Joins ISCS Team

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 23, 2014) - ISCS, developer of the SurePower Innovation^® Modern Enterprise Suite, is pleased to announce former Insurance Networking News (INN) Editor-in-Chief Carrie Burns has joined the company as marketing communications manager.

Burns brings over 14 years of experience in the business-to-business publishing field to her new role. As previously noted, most recently, she worked for Insurance Networking News as editor-in-chief, where her duties included content development; managing an editorial advisory board; establishing and maintaining relationships with writers, readers and industry experts; planning, writing, editing and managing content for magazine, ancillary products, website and new media; managing editorial staff; representing the brand and serving as speaker at industry events. 

Burns, a Ball State graduate, won numerous journalistic awards during her time in the publishing industry, and has been an active participant in the insurance industry during her time at INN. She is a volunteer currently working on IASA's Career Skills Development educational program committee, and she has served as a judge for the association's Technology Achievement Award for the past several years. Additionally, Burns is a familiar face to IASA conference attendees, having served as the news anchor for INN's daily video newscast.
