SAN FRANCISCO, CA and BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Oct 7, 2014) - PE INTERNATIONAL, a leading, global sustainability software provider, today announced membership as a founding partner in the newly launched SASB Resource Platform. Additionally, its SoFi software is the first to be verified after an in-depth SASB review, and is one of two solutions that are licensed for delivery of SASB content. Now, companies can use SoFi to integrate SASB metrics and data into their disclosure reporting.
Working in concert with SASB, PE INTERNATIONAL will provide the ability to track a company's performance using SASB metrics, provide access to SASB disclosure guidance, and integrate note analysis. When companies use SoFi, auditors will be able to view SASB-specific data and assess its accuracy. Data tracking with SoFi software will also allow investors' visibility into metrics analysis and will allow them to use that data for their investment decisions.
"To facilitate corporate use of SASB standards in SEC filings in compliance with Regulation S-K, we need world-class standards as well as world-class technical resources for companies," says Dr. Jean Rogers, SASB CEO and founder. "We are proud to be partnering with PE INTERNATIONAL in order to advance the data and information tracking and disclosure for the non-financial market."
"We are extremely pleased to be one of the first partners in the newly launched SASB program," said James Fava, PhD, chief sustainability strategist for PE INTERNATIONAL. "Our partnership with SASB brings the full reporting power of SoFi to companies wanting to report to SASB and furthers our ongoing commitment to provide the most comprehensive sustainability reporting capabilities on the market."
