Now, Docassist's automated data entry can read handwriting, including signatures, as well as capture key data without having to set up templates.
Docassist's automated data entry reads key fields on documents such as purchase orders and invoices. The information in those fields, such as vendor name, date of invoice or PO, date due, and amount due, becomes the indexing attributes for the document. After the document passes through Docassist's rules-based workflow, the customer can push the data into Intacct, creating an accounting entry. A link to the pertinent document in Docassist is always visible and accessible in Intacct.

· Notifications let managers and workflow participants know when a document has arrived or its status has changed.
· Dashboards provide status of all documents in workflows, allowing managers to move work around to avoid bottlenecks.
· A history of all actions taken on each document provides an audit trail.
