WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Oct 27, 2014) - Apprio, a leading provider of specialized technology solutions, particularly for the health, defense and homeland security markets, today announced it received a new five-year contract with the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This follow-on contract includes providing program management support for the Response Directorate Assistant Administrator & Directorate Personnel. FEMA has awarded five task orders against this new contract to provide program management support across the directorate.
For the Office of Readiness and Assessment, Apprio will continue providing expert consulting services and technical assistance and support for the FEMA Readiness and Assessment Program (F-RAP), Office of Response and Recovery (ORR) Continuous Improvement Working Group (CIWG) and Operational Analysis. Additionally, Apprio will design and format any new F-RAP tools and resources needed to support program execution. The FEMA F-RAP provides the FEMA administrator and senior leadership with information to assess the agency's overall readiness to fulfill its disaster response and recovery missions.
