OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 28, 2014) - In anticipation of the start of November's Financial Literacy Month, the Canadian Bankers Association is launching a new financial literacy seminar program for Canadian seniors - Your Money Seniors. Developed in a partnership with the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, Your Money Seniors covers the money issues vital to retired Canadians, a rapidly growing part of society. The free, non-commercial seminars will be presented to seniors' groups across the country by bankers volunteering their time and will cover important information on how seniors can:
- protect against financial abuse
- spot the signs of financial fraud
- make the most of their money in retirement
