DXS INTERNATIONAL PLC
DXS Awarded Contract for GP Systems of Choice Lot 2
DXS International Plc, the developer and supplier of clinical decision support systems to Clinical Commissioning Groups and healthcare professionals, is delighted to announce that, in addition to its Lot 1 success in March 2014, the Company has been awarded a contract for GP Systems of Choice ("GPSoC") Lot 2 to provide additional GP IT Services.
As part of the NHS's overall procurement strategy, Lot 2 will enable local organisations, including general practices and Clinical Commissioning Groups ("CCGs") to procure additional software, hardware and professional services, complementary to those available under Lot 1.
The Government's Health & Social Care Information Centre ("HSCIC")(www.hscic.gov.uk) will be publishing the Lot 2 Catalogue in December 2014 which will be accompanied by 'how to buy' guidance to support organisations in ordering services. DXS will have an online entry in this catalogue detailing its offering.
Services will be funded by the local organisations and ordered through a Call Off Agreement which will allow ordering parties to negotiate some of the contract terms. The new framework will make it easier for CCGs and Practices to procure GP IT services from approved companies that support the delivery of patient care.
David Immelman, CEO of DXS said: "We are delighted to have been one of only 30 companies to be awarded this contract which reinforces the ongoing success of DXS by enabling clinicians to deliver superior patient care cost effectively. We are continuing to grow our client base which currently stands at 28 CCGs or 1300 GP Practices and with the Lot 2 Award, we anticipate increasing this number even further."
The Directors of DXS International plc accept responsibility for this announcement.
