The Dell servers that 1 &1 is now deploying for its dedicated server systems are equipped with the latest Intel Haswell processors (Xeon E5-2600 v3) with eight and ten processor core options. The PowerEdge systems occupy one unit in the 19 inch rack and feature 64 or 128 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM memory. Storage is handled by four and six terrabyte 1.8" SATA hard disks and RAID 6 hardware, while additional Intel-SSD storage is optionally available.
1 &1, Dell and Intel are cooperating in connection with the Dell-managed service provider program in order to provide optimal support for the new "1 &1 Dedicated Server" offerings.
