IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 24, 2014) - Stanbridge College has announced its Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (RN-BSN) program received accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through December 31, 2019. The program offers a pathway for registered nurses with an Associate of Science in Nursing to complete their bachelor's degree in 21 months.

The Stanbridge College Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing program is offered online with a two-day residency. The curriculum consists of nursing and general education courses and focuses on four fundamental areas: Pathophysiology, Advanced Physical Assessment, Evidence-Based Practice, and Healthcare Informatics. The program offers students a matriculation pathway to its Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with specializations in Nursing Education or Nursing Executive allowing students to prepare for educator or administrative careers.
