The Lexile Titles Database Now Includes More Than 200,000 Works

New Record Set for Largest Number of Works Measured by Any Leveling System

The Lexile Titles Database contains Lexile measures for informational and literary works from over 300 publishers. There are separate databases for the English Titles Database and Spanish Titles Database, both of which are popularly integrated worldwide into products and services. Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google, Renaissance Learning and Scholastic and are among the nearly 50 educational partners that license the Lexile Titles Database.

Library catalog automation companies, online booksellers, publishers and distributors, social networking catalog websites and leaders in educational technology license the Lexile Titles Database to seamlessly incorporate Lexile measures into their products and services. The database provides the ability to populate book data, library records, websites and catalogs with Lexile measures for specific titles. Hundreds of educators, librarians and researchers access the database free of charge. Educators and librarians use the database to add Lexile measures to the titles in their school libraries and classroom collections while researchers use it for their work in the text complexity space.

Educators, librarian, parents and students can use "Find a Book" to search for titles in the Lexile Titles Database. "Find a Book" is a tool that matches readers with high-interest, ability appropriate texts. "Find a Book" helps educators, librarians, parents and students build custom reading lists based on Lexile range (reading ability) and favorite topics. Users can also use the tool to check the availability of specific titles at their local library.
