The decision was based on StoneRiver's deep functionality and Insurance Integration Platform (IIP™) technology.
The insurance carrier currently writes workers' compensation insurance; however, with the implementation of StoneRiver's Stream Suite, the carrier will offer other Commercial Lines products. The integration of Stream Billing will allow clients to receive one bill for its workers' compensation and commercial lines policies. Stream Policy and Stream Claims will be implemented to allow for commercial lines business processing. Stream Policy will allow the carrier to configure and rate its commercial lines business.
The carrier has prospered and grown its workers' compensation business by working closely with its customers and agents, and by being responsive to their needs.
