Gerry Baron, Atlanta Tech Expert, Joins Cirrity as CMO


ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Dec 17, 2014) - Gerry Baron, a seasoned technology professional with over 25 years of global sales and marketing leadership experience, has joined Cirrity, a leading channel-only secure cloud solutions provider.

Baron has held senior executive positions at information security, communications and mission-critical software companies serving the retail, financial services, healthcare, travel, oil and gas, and defense industries including Rockwell Collins, S1 Corporation, Magnet Communications and S2 Systems. At Cirrity, Gerry is responsible for the company's "go-to-market" activities including partnerships, strategic sales, marketing, sales operations and business and corporate development.

Baron received his B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his M.B.A. in General Management from Emory University's Goizueta Business School (GBS). He is a member of the TAG Information Security Society Board, as well as ISSA, PMI and AFCEA. Gerry also volunteers as a mentor for MIT and GBS students, serves as an MIT Educational Counselor (candidate interviewer), and actively mentors Boy Scouts as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor.
