TROY, Mich., Jan. 7, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Village of Lake in the Hills in Illinois will improve customer service with New World Systems®.
The local government licensed New World Systems Logos.NET™ local government software solutions including Financial Management, Procurement Management, Payroll and Human Resources, Utility Management, eSuite, and Decision Support.
According to Richard Hentschel, Finance Director for the Village of Lake in the Hills, New World was selected to replace an older application with dated functionality.
"We wanted a modern application with more robust and efficient functionality and reporting capabilities," Hentschel said. "And that's what we are getting with New World."
Hentschel said the Village selected New World because it provides the municipality with the functionality typical of a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, as it includes general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, cash receipts, budgeting, reporting, human resources, etc.
These features enable the Village to:
- Streamline all processing methods
- Improve data capture quality and efficiency
- Enhance reporting capabilities
"Going forward, we will spend less time managing processes, which will give us more time to spend on customer service," Hentschel said. "New World enables us to do more and we are happy to be working with New World to achieve these goals."
