ROSEVILLE, Calif., Feb. 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Since opening its doors in June 2013, public relations firm Prosio Communications has tripled its staff, was ranked one of the top public relations firms in the Sacramento region (based on six months of initial year gross billings in 2013) and has won two multi-year, multi-million dollar government contracts. The two contracts, valued in excess of $5 million annually, are with the California Office of Traffic Safety and the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District.
Launched by Roseville public relations executive, Lori Prosio, Prosio Communications had just three employees six months ago, but now consists of a team of nine. To accommodate its growing team and increasing client list, the firm will be moving to a 3,500 square foot Roseville office in April.
The firm, which specializes in public relations and marketing for public and private sector clients, is overseeing all statewide advertising and PR efforts for the California Office of Traffic Safety's DUI, distracted driving and bike and pedestrian safety campaigns, as well as all outreach and public education efforts for the regional Spare The Air and Check Before You Burn air quality campaigns for the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District. These two new clients are exciting additions to the team's existing robust client portfolio, which includes national retail clients such as 7-Eleven, and the newly-launched Danny Oliver Foundation, a national non-profit that aims to improve relations between law enforcement agencies and the communities they protect (dannyoliverfoundation.org).
