PowerStream Offering Discount Coupons on Energy-Efficient Products

VAUGHAN, ON--(Marketwired - March 19, 2015) - PowerStream, in conjunction with the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) and participating retailers, is launching a Spring discount coupon initiative designed to provide consumers with instant savings on a wide range of energy-efficient products and to help them better understand the benefits of conservation.

Scheduled to run from March 27 to April 26 inclusive, the Spring 2015 saveONenergy COUPON EVENT features discount coupons on energy-efficient products that can be redeemed at participating retailers including Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, RONA, The Home Depot, Lowe's and Walmart.

Customers interested in taking advantage of the program can choose from a number of in-store money saving coupons. The purchase and use of energy-efficient products will help PowerStream customers reduce energy consumption in their homes or small businesses.

The coupons provide savings on ENERGY STAR^® certified specialty LED light bulbs and light fixtures; lighting control products such as hard-wired dimmers, timers and occupancy sensors; heavy duty plug-in timers; advanced power bars; and weather-stripping.

To help customers take full advantage of the discounts available during the COUPON EVENT, coupons will be available in-store and online. PowerStream customers are encouraged to visit the utility's website at www.PowerStream.ca/ForHome to download any of the instant savings coupons.

• The COUPON EVENT is offered across the province. It helps promote Ontario's saveONenergy initiative and further encourages a culture of conservation across the province.

• The discount coupons are available in-store at participating retailers throughout the province until April 26, 2015 and from the PowerStream website at www.PowerStream.ca/ForHome.
