Foundation Radiology Group Names Richard Vance as CEO

PITTSBURGH, PA--(Marketwired - Mar 24, 2015) - Foundation Radiology Group, one of the nation's largest providers of radiology services to hospitals, has capped a year of growth in 2014 by appointing Dr. Richard Vance as Chief Executive Officer and board member. A successful healthcare services executive, Dr. Vance has over 30 years of experience in healthcare services and IT, product development, research, and analytics and modeling, and has published more than 80 articles in national and industry publications. Dr. Vance has a BA from Wake Forest University, an MA from University of Chicago, and a MD from Wake Forest University.

In addition, he is the former CEO and President of CorSolutions Medical, Inc., the nation's second-largest disease management company until it was acquired by Matria Healthcare in 2006.

Dr. Vance's appointment caps a successful year for Foundation Radiology in which the company launched operations at six new hospitals in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Kentucky, with two more since year end. As of December 31, 2014, Foundation Radiology delivers over one million final radiology interpretations on an annualized basis.
