("Medley") (NYSE:MDLY), a leading asset manager, announced today that Mark Smith has joined the Medley team as Managing Director in its Institutional Fundraising Group. Based in New York, Mr. Smith will cover institutional investors for Medley's private funds and separately managed accounts and will also be involved in product development.
Mr. Smith joins Medley with over 25 years of institutional fundraising experience. Prior to joining Medley, Mr. Smith was a Managing Director and head of North America institutional marketing with CIFC Asset Management. Prior to CIFC, Mr. Smith worked in various capital markets and corporate finance positions for Citibank, Bankers Trust and The GreensLedge Group.
