Bringing a substantial background in real estate finance, housing policy and business growth to the Genesis companies, Mathoda will play an integral role alongside the existing executive leadership in the expansion of both companies.

She also recently served as managing director for HausAngeles Management Consulting, where she advised federal, state and local policymakers at public and private organizations on mortgage, real estate, and affordable housing policies and programs including Treasury's Making Home Affordable initiatives HAMP, HAFA and HARP. She has also served as chief administrative officer for the country's second largest independent mortgage lender.

Mathoda obtained her A.B. from Princeton University and her M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
