GOLETA, CA--(Marketwired - April 13, 2015) - BIOPAC Systems, Inc. has officially released the Biopac Student Lab (BSL) 4.1 software, a major upgrade to the popular program. Based on educator feedback, the new version brings new features, lessons, and hardware integration that add to what has been called the "Gold Standard" in Life Science Teaching systems.
Biopac Student Lab 4.1 is a complete life science teaching solution, as it comes with everything you need to get started: hardware, software, and curriculum for a wide range of practical lab experiments. Its easy integration make the system ready to run and ready to teach right out of the box.
The new BSL version 4.1 brings fully customizable learning objectives, a new functionality that educators have been asking for. Through the new Curriculum Management System (CMS) licensed feature, users can edit and create lessons that fit their teaching plans. The CMS allows for "no-programming" customization making lesson creation as easy as typing and drag and drop.

Most importantly, Biopac Student Lab increases student engagement. BSL 4.1 contains over 65 experiments where students record from their own bodies, animals, or tissue preparations. BSL 4.1 improves students' lab experience with guided lessons containing onscreen instructions, "smart" transducers and electrodes, video demos and sample data. New Dropbox® integration now allows students to bring their work home by accessing their lab files from their own computer.
The new version also better assists educators with TA-in-a-box support, such as built-in lesson plans, extensive student prep/support materials and easy-to-use administration and housekeeping aids.
