Boyce to Bring Powerful, Flexible and Proven File Security to the Global Market

PALO ALTO, Calif., April 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FinalCode, Inc., the innovator in enterprise file security for a connected world, today announced the appointment of Gord Boyce to the position of chief executive officer and board member. FinalCode® allows organizations to readily gain strong file protection to ensure sensitive information remains protected on devices, content management systems, cloud storage and collaboration channels. Previously, Boyce served as CEO of network security vendor ForeScout Technologies. The addition of Boyce to FinalCode will serve to accelerate adoption of the FinalCode file security platform for small-to-medium businesses, government agencies and large enterprises.

Boyce, a high-tech veteran, brings more than 20 years of industry experience to FinalCode. As CEO of ForeScout Technologies, he steered the company, which offers a continuous monitoring and mitigation platform, to become a global leader in network access control (NAC). Prior to ForeScout, Boyce held several senior management positions within the Nokia Internet Communications group and the Enterprise Solutions business group. He also held sales management positions with VoIP pioneer Vienna Systems, which was acquired by Nokia in December 1998.

"Given the dynamics of file sharing and cloud-based collaboration, the risk to sensitive data is a substantial exposure for all businesses. The potential for FinalCode to help organizations extend control of their file security in today's mobile- and cloud-connected world is enormous," said Boyce. "I am excited to take the helm of FinalCode and capitalize on the opportunities that lie ahead."

"Gord has a proven ability to build companies, develop organizations and achieve global sales targets," said Toshio Dogu, chairman of the FinalCode board and director of Digital Arts Investment, Inc. "His experience and drive will be invaluable to FinalCode in achieving its business objectives."
