Taste of Potrero 2015 will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14 in Building 12 of Pier 70, giving attendees a peek into the revitalization project currently underway to reclaim this historic stretch of San Francisco waterfront and bring housing, parks and jobs to Dogpatch.
"The San Francisco foodies show up in droves thanks to the incredible restaurants that support this unique public school, serving a very diverse population of our city's kids," said former San Francisco Mayor and Potrero Hill resident, Art Agnos. About Taste of Potrero
Taste of Potrero was created in 2011 by Potrero Hill residents seeking to tap into San Franciscans' passion for cuisine while raising critical funds for their community school. During the premier fundraiser in May 2011, Taste of Potrero raised more than $50,000, a financial lifeline for Daniel Webster that enabled the school to meet its budget needs and continue offering quality education for San Francisco students. Since its first fundraiser event, Taste of Potrero has raised over $300K for Daniel Webster Elementary.
