NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 21, 2015) - GigCave announced today that they are teaming up with Little Kids Rock, a national non-profit dedicated to unlocking students' inner music makers by expanding music education in disadvantaged public schools nationwide. GigCave has pledged to donate a portion of its proceeds to Little Kids Rock to support its programs, which include training public school teachers and donating instruments, curricular resources, and other support to ensure kids have access to varied musical experiences.
GigCave is a free, cloud-based platform that allows musicians to create, manage, and host electronic press kits (EPKs). GigCave gives musicians the power to control their brands, manage their careers, present their best images to potential hirers, and focus on getting paid to play music.
GigCave CEO and creator Anthony Tedesco said, "Our mission is to enable aspiring musicians to do what they love -- make a career out of making music. As musicians ourselves, we realize that this love and appreciation needs to be nurtured from an early age. We see this partnership as a way to give back to everyone who helped us along the way, by helping the next generation of musicians."
"Little Kids Rock is grateful and excited to receive GigCave's support and commitment to empowering young music makers," says Little Kids Rock CEO and Founder David Wish. "It is our hope that our students will be inspired by music and live rich, purposeful lives. GigCave is doing its part to ensure they have the chance to explore the world of music now, and that there's a vibrant music industry for them in the future."
Both organizations share a commitment to mentorship. GigCave, as part of its unique, premium membership program, provides musicians with the ability to communicate one-on-one with industry professionals who can provide advice ranging from making live performances better to songwriting tips.
Accessible online at www.gigcave.com, GigCave is an easy-to-use platform where musicians can create and manage their EPKs free of charge and tap into a mentoring program that allows them one-on-one access to knowledgeable industry professionals.

ABOUT LITTLE KIDS ROCK
Little Kids Rock is a national nonprofit that is dedicated to unlocking children's inner music-makers by revitalizing music education programming in public schools. The organization partners with school districts to train public school teachers to run its innovative Modern Band curriculum and donates all of the accompanying instruments and resources necessary to teach popular music. Little Kids Rock started as a schoolteacher's vision to give his students access to music education that is relevant to them while diminishing budgets for the arts made that more and more difficult to do. What began as a single after-school guitar class has since exploded into a national movement that is bringing free, weekly music lessons to more than 135,000 public school children due to the efforts of nearly 1,200 teachers nationwide. To date, Little Kids Rock has served over 325,000 students. More info at www.littlekidsrock.org
