Eniro transforms - New ways of working to deliver greater customer focus, more business and lower costs

  · An organisation better aligned to fulfil customer needs
  · Fewer managers to manage a more agile and more efficient organisation
  · Savings of 25 MSEK for 2015, annualised to 120 MSEK.
Eniro has now launched a strategic transformation process. Today's announcement
means that new ways of working are being introduced and the organisation will
downsize by 350 positions which means a reduction of 260 employees. The changes
will come into force in May and are expected to be fully implemented by the
autumn.

-          It is incredibly painful to have to let employees go. Unfortunately
this is unavoidable as we need to transform the company. We will be offering all
the help and support we can to employees affected, such as in Sweden where we
are consulting with Trygghetsrådet, Stefan Kercza explained.

Since Stefan Kercza took over the reins as CEO, he has put Eniro under the
microscope and as early as this past autumn and winter the first stages of the
strategic changes which are now being implemented were initiated.

The changes that Stefan Kercza is presenting today concern the introduction of
new ways of working and in part, the creation of a new organisation.

One clear illustration of this is that in many cases the various Eniro brands
have separate sales forces. This has meant that in the course of a week, one
single customer can have been contacted by several different sales
representatives offering separate solutions for each channel.

-          This is neither efficient nor does it enhance our possibilities of
doing additional business. We need more sales people to concentrate on offering
a broader product portfolio.

The new organisation means that sales representatives will look to sell more
products to each individual customer in line with the customer’s requirement.
The changes also mean that the organisation is being streamlined by eliminating
several management layers.

Eniro has also gradually centralised various functions such as product
development. The new measures presented today entail further concentration for
Eniro, such as in the areas of sales support and customer service.

-          There has been a tendency at Eniro to develop special solutions, but
this has not been especially effective. There will now be scope to obtain sales
support at central level. Another benefit will be opportunities for the
different markets to share valuable experiences.

The changes will also deliver efficiency gains that should reduce cost for 2015
by around 25 MSEK, or 120 MSEK on an annual basis.
