E & E has completed more than 100 assignments for AICUZ, RAICUZ, and encroachment planning, providing technical support to the Navy on issues that are of acute importance to the future of mission readiness and sustainment. AICUZ plans include detailed analyses of aircraft noise, accident potential zones, land use compatibility, operational alternatives, and potential solutions to both existing and potentially incompatible land use problems. RAICUZ plans, developed for installations where training involves air-to-ground weapons delivery, quantify range safety and delineate strategies for lands affected by potential weapon and noise impacts.

The contract has a 60-month term, with an expected completion date in April 2020. Work will be performed in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, California, and the adjacent waters of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, including the continental United States, the Caribbean, Europe, North Africa, and other areas worldwide.
