Peab has been contracted to build a new city hall in Huskvarna that also includes a library and an ICA store. Shared client for the project is Jönköping Municipality and ICA. The contract amounts to about SEK 163 million. The assignment comprises a property on five floors divided in three office floors and one biblioteksplan of Jönköping and a basement with an ICA store. The project will serve as the new entrance in Huskvarna. The project will be certified according to the Green Building, level Silver. In contract, in addition to building the project, including participating in the municipal commitment to social considerations, which means that Peab will create jobs for a number of trainees, APU students, apprentices, etc. The work will begin in June 2015 and the project will be completed in September 2017.
