EVERETT, WA--(Marketwired - May 07, 2015) - The United States Patent and Trademark Office granted Electric Mirror patent US 8,910,402 B2 for its invention featuring a mirrored medicine cabinet combined with a TV in the door and a mirrored medicine cabinet combined with a lighting system in the door.
Filed with the US Patent Office in 2009 and recently awarded, the patent, officially titled "Medicine Cabinet Assembly," protects Electric Mirror's Mirrored Cabinets that contain a media device or lighting system installed within the door. According to Michael Uhl, Electric Mirror's chief research engineer, "Our Mirrored Cabinets are unlike anything in the industry incorporating HDTV, natural color LED lighting, a mirror defogger, and audio in an ultra-thin door." Select models also include V-mirror technology, which allows the screen to completely disappear when the HDTV is turned off.
