Dodge will be introducing a re-engineered Dart and a re-designed Journey. The Dodge Dart will feature a nine-speed transmission to improve fuel economy. The Dodge Journey is rumored to be all-wheel drive and have an optional third row.
Jeep is believed to be unveiling a 2016 Jeep Wrangler with an EcoDiesel V6 engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. "If the rumors are true, this combination can revolutionize the Wrangler!" says Martin. "Our customers in Mount Airy will love the extra power."
Ram revealed the 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel at the Detroit Auto Show. It comes standard with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine at 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of torque. "This pickup will satisfy any power-hungry driver," says Martin, "We can't wait to get them on the lot."
Many think that car companies bring out the new models too early and it's just a marketing gimmick, but others believe it helps customers. "The sooner we get in the new model year, the better for our customers because we start slashing prices on our 2014 and 2015s that a left on the lot," explains Martin, "We are starting to make room now for the new lineup, so it's a great time to get a deal on a 2014 and 2015."
