SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - May 12, 2015) - University Village today announced the line-up for the 2015 Sounds of Summer Concert Series, presented by UW Medicine.
The Sounds of Summer Concert Series at University Village is a series of free concerts on Wednesday evenings beginning July 8 and running through August 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Every year, Seattleites come out to shop, eat and enjoy the long summer evenings and live music from a mix of local favorites and well-known artists playing familiar hits and new selections.
Although every concert throughout the series features family-friendly artists, University Village will end the summer with a fun family night featuring two of Seattle's favorite children's bands: Recess Monkey and Caspar Babypants.
The 2015 Sounds of Summer Concert Series line-up features:
July 8 - The Maldives
July 15 - Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme
July 22 - The Nowhere Men
July 29 - Hit Explosion
August 5 - The Paperboys
August 12 - The Dusty 45s
August 19 - Family Night - Recess Monkey and Caspar Babypants
In addition to their favorite bands, concert-goers look forward to gourmet bites from University Village restaurants, the lively Ram Restaurant beer garden and fun activities in the kid's play area.
The University Village Sounds of Summer Concert Series is presented by UW Medicine, with major sponsorship from Bob Byers Volvo of Seattle, the Ram Restaurant and Brewery and STAR 101.5.
