CALGARY, Alberta and DENVER, May 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Long View (longviewsystems.com), one of North America's most powerful providers of Hybrid IT solutions and services, will make its first bold step into Europe by opening an office in Amsterdam.
With partners such as Cisco and Microsoft already operating regional headquarters in Holland's largest city, and a multitude of languages spoken in the cosmopolitan Dutch capital, Amsterdam offers Long View a "first-rate entry point" for further expansion into Europe, says Long View Chief Executive Officer Gord Mawhinney.
"In the future, we're considering a London project office — and we are eventually looking at the Far East, which would allow us to establish a follow-the-sun operation," says Mawhinney.
"Beginning with Amsterdam, we'll be aligning with our vendor partner communities and using this global-focused strategy to eventually serve our customers with day-shift employees all over the world," he adds.
Amsterdam is set to become Long View's 10th office worldwide. With Canadian headquarters in Calgary and U.S. headquarters in Denver, Long View also has branches in Toronto, Houston, Dallas, Edmonton, Vancouver, Phoenix, and Victoria.
Since it was established in 1999, Long View has grown steadily into a North American leader in the area of Hybrid IT, which requires a broad base of industry knowledge, agility, and collaboration.
