Marketing Maven Appoints John Krisiukenas Managing Director for New York Office

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - May 26, 2015) - Marketing Maven announced the appointment of John Krisiukenas to the position of Managing Director, New York. In the position, Krisiukenas will be responsible for establishing business contacts and growing the newly opened New York City office for the full-service public relations agency and integrated marketing firm.

The former SVP, Business Development at Text100/Joe Public Relations and Director of Corporate Communications for the NHL brings his extensive sports and consumer marketing experience to the new position. Krisiukenas played an integral role in Text100's growth with his involvement in historic new business wins including IBM, FujiFilm and Earthlink. Prior to working with the NextFifteen properties, he was the Director of Corporate Communications for the National Hockey League where he served for two years as a primary communications liaison for NHL Enterprises, the League's marketing and licensing arm, as well as their corporate partners to business, consumer and trade media.

Before joining the NHL, Krisiukenas was managing director of JCK Communications in Singapore. While in Asia, Krisiukenas developed integrated marketing programs for several international corporations including Sony. He also served as an on-air sports and event marketing analyst for CNBC Asia. Before moving to Asia, Krisiukenas served as vice president at Jericho Communication in New York. There, as head of new business, he ran the day-to-day sports marketing department and was integral in making Jericho Communications one of the fastest growing agencies in America.

The Brockton, MA native has been actively involved in consumer, entertainment and sports marketing for 20 years, working on global events such as the Stanley Cup Finals, the Goodwill Games, the Virginia Slims Championship and multiple Summer and Winter Olympic Games. He is also an accomplished playwright having several of his plays produced for the New York stage and is a member of the prestigious Playwright and Director's Group at the Actor's Studio.
