Thompson began his career in outside sales but transitioned to the property management industry in 2006. He began with Associa ASI in 2009 and managed up to 18 properties for the company while obtaining his CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and AMS (Association Management Specialist) designations through CAI (Community Associations Institute). He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management.
