ROSEMEAD, Calif., June 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Panda Express Founders Andrew and Peggy Cherng, serve lunch to guests at their Rosemead, CA, restaurant on Monday as part of the company's inaugural Family Day which raised $1 million for Feeding America and its nationwide network of local food banks. The event, which was celebrated at more than 1,750 Panda Express locations, honored Panda's family-owned heritage and raised the equivalent of 10 million meals to help feed families in America who struggle with hunger.
